Watercolor Workshop: Bringing Your Favorite Landscapes to Life

Have you ever wondered how artists get from reference photo to a finished landscape painting? If so, this is the perfect workshop for you! Maryam Miller and Erika Donaghy will be guiding you through the entire process. 

In the first half of the workshop Maryam will walk you through how to choose a good reference photo and what to think about as you compose your landscape. She'll then show you how to get your sketch on the page with lots of helpful drawing tips and tricks to make this stage less intimidating. 

Once you have your drawing down, Erika will show you how to use watercolor to bring your landscape to life. We'll discuss the basics of how to use watercolor, how to choose colors and more. 

At then end of the evening you'll go home with a finished watercolor painting and the skills to continue on your creative journey.…
